The shaftless screw compactor is designed to remove a large quantity of the liquids that are mixed with any type of product. This is not a 100% separation, but with this system the conditions of the material are improved for future handling or storing.
Due to general design regulations, this equipment has an initial drainage section situated near the product entry point, and a second pressure filter section at the end section. It uses various types of filtering screens, with the most common type being a filter with triangular profiles or perforated plates.
